  1. Beta version 2.5h has had some MAJOR changes implemented in the message
  2. system (the only real obvious change to the user, however, is the removal of
  3. the highly-ingenious-but-poorly-implemented ReplyTree mode).  Therefore,
  4. please make note of the following:

  6.   *  There is a conversion program included with this archive to convert
  7.      your message bases to the new format.  THE OLD MESSAGE BASE FILES
  8.      ARE DELETED, SO MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR MESSAGE DIRECTORY BEFORE
  9.      PERFORMING THE CONVERSION!!!

  11.   *  Those of you who are receiving EchoMail and/or GroupMail should use
  12.      the new version of TeleMail (1.26 Beta) included in this archive.
  13.      DO NOT USE EARLIER VERSIONS WITH 2.5h, OR YOU WIlL MESS UP YOUR
  14.      MESSAGE BASES!!!

  16.   *  As always, read the NEW25H.TXT file THOROUGHLY to familiarize yourself
  17.      with all of the bug fixes, new features, and changes to this Beta
  18.      release.

  20. The Alpha sites WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any problems you may encounter
  21. after performing this conversion (especially if you don't follow the above
  22. instructions)!
